Dolly and the bear

On our way to nursery each day we pass a wooden carved bear that Dolly likes to say hello to as we drive by.

Today my husband and I decided to stop the car in front of the house where the wooden bear is and thinking the coast was clear we started waving and chatting out of the car window to the bear which Dolly found hilarious.

Suddenly it dawned upon us, what we thought was an empty car beside us was clearly not as out of the car stepped a very confused looking man.  Needless to say we made a swift exit.

What was the question?

I have had my first experience of being asked the same question on repeat for a twenty minute car journey.  While I had been out and about I took Dolly to the park where she  saw some boys in the park running around loudly. As soon as we get in the car

Dolly asks:  Did the boys make a loud noise in the park mama?

My reply:  Yes they did, they were a bit noisy.

Dolly pausing and thinking for around 10 seconds:

Dolly asks:  Did the boys make a loud noise in the park mama?

My reply again:  Yes they did, they were a bit noisy

19 minutes later

Dolly continues to ask:  Did the boys make a loud noise in the park mama?

My reply:  Yes they were a bit noisy, oh look I can see our house now.
